We thought it should be known as it’s our hometown that The Port of Felixstowe has recently opened new berths numbers 8 & 9.  These are the only berths in the UK capable of accommodating the largest container ships on order.  This new facility is also equipped with seven of the largest container cranes in the world.

Coming as the first phase in the South development it is expected the second phase will follow as market conditions develop.
