For small and medium sized companies looking at international markets, now could be the time to start investigating.
The UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) supported by our PM David Cameron has teamed up with Yell to create the website Open to Export. This dedicated website, due for launch next month, offers practical advice for businesses looking to export and this will be the focus of a government campaign to kick start the economy.
The website will have a resource of information with a community of users and contributors including UK trade officers in Embassies and High Commissions.
Although predominantly set up for business new to exporting, if you already export, open to Export can help introduce you to other markets and allow you to make connections to the businesses and services that can help you expand further.
Of course we’d like to throw our hat in the ring for your first choice for a high quality freight service, but the website does offer many other components to your export requirements such as translation and foreign currency services to name but a few.
