Team effort secures ISO 9001:2015 for Jordon
Fellow Felixstowe-based company, compliance experts, VARTAN, led Jordon through the quality management system accreditation process. Roddy Forster says: “We started the process back in early 2017 and it took just over a year for our accreditation to be approved.
Achieving ISO 9001:2015 enables Jordon to offer a comprehensive set of logistics solutions ranging from collection, to the tracking and delivery of full and part loads across Europe and the UK.
Roddy continues: “This accreditation was never a tick box exercise for us. Continuous improvement is at the bedrock of how we operate, but for ISO 9001:2015 it was vital to have the support and commitment of colleagues across all aspects of our business. By taking our time, and with VARTAN’s specialist help, we got it right and are very proud of the accreditation.”
Miles Vartan, managing director of VARTAN adds: “Everyone in the Jordon team went above and beyond to achieve ISO 9001:2015 was evident from the outset and now they’re ideally placed to pursue future ISO quality standards.
“Going forward, Jordon’s clients can be reassured that the company will offer the service that is required of them, whilst at the same time consistently meeting the exacting standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).”
Roddy adds: “By applying our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system to whatever post-Brexit scenario the UK ends up with, not only will our industry-best service levels be maintained; we’ll be able to demonstrate our ability to quickly adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace.”
