A first for us, we were nominated a finalist in the 2018 BIFA Freight Service Awards.
Shortlisted in the European Logistics Award category, our award entry showcased our precision, planning and ability to continuously meet clients’ just-in-time logistics requirements throughout Europe and the UK.
Jon says: “One of five finalists, Roddy, Luke, Birgit and I headed to London in January 2019 for the awards ceremony with high hopes. Whilst winning wasn’t on the cards for us that evening, the whole process of being nominated made us take a step back and consider what we’re all about.
“Firstly, it was great to receive industry recognition that we’re pretty good at what we do. We offer some of the best on-demand logistics solutions in the business and our customers really are king to us. The nomination recognised our commitment for going above and beyond to deliver consignments as agreed and on time, in an industry that requires exceptional service levels. And, it acknowledged the competitive advantage our unique European network, which has been developed over 20 years, provides.
“It also made Roddy and I both realise that the challenges of everyday business make it all too easy to take for granted all that makes Jordon special and the culture of teamwork and support we try and create.
